“I am a Bodmin man whose family have lived and worked in Bodmin for generations. I’m proud to represent the residents of my hometown and passionate about what is best for the whole of our community. It has been an honour to represent Bodmin as Mayor 2019 – 2022 as this provided me with an opportunity to promote the positives of living in Bodmin throughout the county”.
Councillor Cooper served as Mayor for a period of three years up until May 2022 having held this position since May 2019. Before that he served as Deputy Mayor for the 2018/19 term.
