Access Keys - Short Cuts for Keyboard Only Users

Access keys give a keyboard users fast, easy access to many of the most important pages on a website. They act as shortcuts - instead of tabbing through endless links, you can use a simple combination of two or three keys to jump to the page you want if that page has been allocated a special 'access key'.
For instance, visitors using the Windows Internet Explorer browser would only need to press down the Alt key at the same time as the C key and then press enter to jump directly to the Contact the Council page on this site.
Listed below are the Access Keys and combinations required for the Bodmin Town Council website for a variety of different browsers.
This list is also accessble as a floating reference layer on every page for those with Java enabled browsers. Just click on the 'Access Keys' link at the very top of the page.
