Bodmin Town Council has a number of meeting rooms and other spaces available to hire within the Shire House Complex
and Shire Hall by both community and commercial organizations as well as for individual use. Activities held
in these venues include; meetings, functions, craft fayres, bingo and other events. Various community groups and statutory and voluntary bodies use our facilities on a regular basis. Free wi-fi is available in all our meeting rooms.
Priory Car Park is adjacent to the Council facilities, making our venue extremely convenient for all.

Shire House Suite
Shire Hall Meeting Room
The Shire House Suite, the largest of our meeting rooms, can accommodate up to 165 people theatre style or up to 80 people cabaret style.
The Judge’s Dining Room is situated on the first floor of the Shire House complex, this bright, beautiful room can accommodate up to 20 delegates boardroom style or up to 40 theater style.
Small Kitchen (Shire House Complex) – Available for preparing tea/ coffee – free to use provided it is cleaned after use.
Main Kitchen (Shire House Complex) – For cooked meals – Can ONLY be used by a caterer from the Council’s approved caterers list - £41.00 plus VAT.
For some functions a refundable deposit of £100.00 may be required to cover the possibility of damage to the room and is payable on the confirmation of the booking. This deposit will be in addition to the hire charge, which must be paid 14 days in advance. All deposits are banked on receipt and all refunds made by cheque.
Children’s discos and similar functions are not permitted
